Why is Spring the Ideal Time to Replace your Windows?

Why is Spring the ideal time to replace your windows? There a lot of reasons why it’s the ideal time, but we’ll look what happens if we replacing your windows in Summer, Fall, and Winter as well so you can decide which season is best for you.

Spring

Here at JEH Windows & Doors LTD, we believe that Spring is the ideal time to replace your windows. We believe its the best time due to weather and its when most people start planning out their gardens. Spring gives us the perfect conditions to do your replacement as the materials, such as deterrent, caulk, and windows may expand, shirk, become brittle or won’t cure properly if the weather is too hot or too cold. We could also replace your windows before you start working on your garden, so no issues would arise about ruining your garden. Most people also start their renovations in the Spring, so you can include replacing your windows in that process as well. Opening up a window in any other season would either be too hot or too cold to work in. It may bringing in drafts that are too hot or cold during the other months will make it more uncomfortable for you and also hike up your energy bills as you try to keep your house at a  more comfortable temperature. It’s best in the Spring as the temperatures aren’t extreme making it the most comfortable for you to replace your window.

Summer

During the Summer, we have beautiful weather but we need to account for the material that may expand or cure improperly due to the heat. Opening up a window in this type of weather, may make your house too hot to be comfortable in, and hiking up your energy bills as you try to keep your house cool.

Fall

During the Fall, its a lot cooler than Summer, but replacing your windows in this weather may make it a took cold as well, hiking up energy bills to keep your house warm.

Winter

During the Winter, it’s the total opposite of Summer. We need to account for the material that may shrink or become to brittle due to it being too cold. Opening up a window in this type of weather, may make your house too cold to be comfortable in, and hiking up your energy bills as you try to keep your house warm.
